Connotation  something suggested by a word or thing. Denotation  literal or primary meaning of a word, in contrast to the feelings or ideas that the word suggests. Demographic  elating to the structure of populations. Iconography t he visual images and symbols used in a work of art or the study or interpretation of these. Branding  the promotion of a particular product or company by means of advertising and distinctive design.
